Dart Shaft Spinner

The Shot Dart Shaft Spinner is a titanium spinning flight accessory that sits between the shaft and the flight, adding rotation to a setup without replacing the barrels, shafts or flights already in use. It fits standard shafts and moulded flights, and is available in black or silver. Each spinner weighs 0.7 grams.

The spinner uses an O-ring design to damp vibration and holds rotation until it is struck, so the flight turns under contact from an incoming dart rather than spinning freely through the air. Turning on impact lets the incoming dart deflect off the flight face instead of catching it square, which reduces bounce-outs and tears the flight less, so a set of flights lasts longer in tight grouping. Titanium keeps the added weight low at 0.7 grams per spinner, which matters at the rear of the dart where mass has the most effect on balance — heavier hardware in the same position shifts the dart rearward and changes the throw. Black and silver are the same component in different finishes, so the choice is cosmetic.
