Mirage - 90% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts

The Mission Mirage is a steel tip dart machined from 90% tungsten, with a groove pattern running along almost the full length of the barrel and a PVD coating that shifts in appearance as the dart is turned. The barrel is straight, with a smooth bull nose at the front leading into a smooth black point and a small smooth section at the rear carrying a laser-etched Mission logo.

The grooved grip zone covers most of the 52.8mm barrel, so the hand finds the same texture across a wide range of grip positions rather than one narrow band. At 90% tungsten the barrel holds 23g within a 6.2mm width and 25g within 6.5mm, keeping the profile slim enough for darts to sit close together in the board where a brass or low-tungsten barrel of the same weight would be noticeably wider. The centre-weighted balance spreads mass evenly along the barrel, which suits a mid-barrel grip, and the PVD coating protects the groove edges from the wear that smooths out grip over time.
