Katana - 95% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts

Two grip zones, two different jobs. The Katana carries horizontal milling and vertical grooves towards the rear, then switches to diamond-shaped cuts towards the front, all under a black PVD coating that keeps the two patterns visually distinct.

Splitting a barrel like this gives your fingers a landmark. Rather than a uniform texture where any position feels the same, you can feel where you are — and that's what makes a grip repeat without conscious thought. It suits a player who holds towards the front or the back deliberately rather than somewhere in the middle.

These are wide barrels, 7.9mm at 22g and 8mm at 24g on a 50mm length, which gives a lot to hold onto. Getting that much width in 95% tungsten is a choice rather than a limitation — the denser alloy would allow a slimmer barrel, so Mission have gone for substance in the hand instead.

The set arrives fully assembled with Caliburn EVO points and Force 90 Vortex flights already fitted, so it's ready to throw out of the packet.
