A wall bracket for hanging a dartboard, supplied with the fixings needed to fit it.

Most boards come with a basic fixing that works but leaves the board sitting hard against the wall and awkward to remove. A proper bracket does three things better: it holds the weight through the wall rather than a single screw, it keeps the board square, and it makes lifting the board off straightforward.

That last point is what matters most over time. Rotating a board every few weeks moves the wear away from the treble twenty and adds seasons to its life — and a mount that makes rotation a chore is the reason most people never do it.

Getting the height right at the point of fitting matters more than anything else. The bullseye sits at 1.73 metres from the floor, which is worth measuring properly at fitting rather than judging by eye.
